More shaping and I gave the blade his edge.
Here you see the little detail where the 2 smaller stones will be placed.
A large stone will be placed om the oval shaped piece on the guard.

Caladbolg - part 1
It's not much, only the basic form and my feet ^^
The materials I used are Plastizote LD33, fiberglass core and a small piece of cloth at the tip to reinforce it.
I made this template in PhotoShop, I will try to make this as close as possible.

Razor Sword - part 1
For the Razor Sword I made a core-piece from plasticard and glue 2 sheets of plastizote LD33 on it. I use BisonTix to glue the foam on each other, because this will keep the foam flexible and Larp-able.
After gluing I cut the foam in it's shape.
The handel is made from EVA-foam.
As you can see, it still needs a lot of work, but I have the initial shape ^^

And so it begins
The Lazarus Project... What is this?
Well, it's my blog to show you my progress in Prop making and Cosplay ^^
(and an excuse to improve my English writing) :P
So... Let's begin!
The first 2 projects will be the Razor Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and the Caladbolg from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
Two different swords, almost no template and, if I have to believe Google, not previously built by someone else.
It's gonna be fun!!!
